Lynn Cintron, MDBoard Secretary

I have been involved with CASIPP for almost 10 years and believe it’s a great organization. Currently I serve as board secretary. I have practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2000 in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. My educational training includes an MS from the University California, Los Angeles, an MD from University California, San Diego, Anesthesiology Residency at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and a Pain Management Fellowship at Stanford University. I also have certifications in sonography for Pain and Point of Care Ultrasound and am an active member of various pain and anesthesiology societies. I have a passion for teaching and do so in the UC system and Stanford Health Care.

When time permits, I enjoy writing and research. Areas of interest include Persistent Post-Surgical Pain and Geriatric Pain, to which I have published. I support organized medicine and am an advocate for physicians as well as patient safety. I enjoy hiking, ballroom dancing, tennis and listening to music with my husband.

Please feel free to share any concerns you are experiencing in the pain field and I will communicate with our board. We are stronger as a team.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve on the CASIPP Board.
